Two Wolves

“This is probably the best, explicit, short explanation of life.” JAX
TWO WOLVES : One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
“One is Evil – It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
“The other is Good – It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Underground Junction: A Journey To Creative Freedom

It isn’t often that you meet musicians with so much determination. These guys are not only driven, they are filled with the fire that it takes to get noticed in this business. But amazingly enough, this team of talent is as down to earth as it gets. I have enjoyed laughing with them and sharing their fun stories of music mania and their fight for creative freedom.  With Actor/Musician Steven Bauer on lead vocals, platinum songwriter/musician Glenn Goss, Guitarist Bill G and percussionist Chico Brown, these guys have a unique sound like no other filled with creativity and passion.  Their unique blend of Rock, Folk, Latin and Traditional influences transpires into a truly organic sound that crosses over to every genre of music on the market today and most importantly gets their fans to their feet. I adore these guys and love the inspiration that they bring to everyone around them. All the best, Jacqueline Jax Xoxo

JAXEPEDIA: Turn Me On

Turn Me On” was written by Nashville hall of fame songwriter, John D. Loudermilk. The song was first recorded by Mark Dinning in 1961 and then recorded by Nina Simone, who I’ve always loved for her sultry sound and unique delivery. I really like the rhythm of the music and lyrics. Just a great reminder that simple can be so effective. This recording is the 4rd song on the project I’m working on. Singing songs originating as far back as the 30’s onto today. I adore every song we chose and hope that you’ll enjoy my versions as well. Thanks for watching :)

My most sincerest thanks to http://www.IKMultimedia.com and http://www.Apple.com for their support of my projects. The recording and video was done using their fabulous technology and knowledge.

Don’t Know Why

Don't Know Why

There is something about this song that just relaxes me. I don’t know if it’s the melody or the lyrics but since I first heard it in 1999, I had always intended on recording it. The song was written by singer/songwriter Jesse Harris & the Ferdinandos (Tony Scherr, Tim Luntzel, and Kenny Wollesen). They have 3 terrific albums on Verve Records. When I was asked to do some recordings for a new web site launching next year, I was really glad that it fit in with the project. This new venture has me singing songs originating as far back as the 30′s onto today. I adore every song we chose and hope that you’ll enjoy my versions as well. Thanks for watching
